Robert F. Kennedy Blasts FDA, Vows to Ban ‘Corrupt’ Approvals and Promote Raw Meat Consumption

In a 15-minute-long video uploaded to Instagram on Thursday afternoon, Robert F. Kennedy unveils his plan to block FDA approval for anti-parasite medications albendazole and praziquantel. He also discusses the benefits of a carnivore diet and suggests changes to the food pyramid.

The video, which features Kennedy shuffling uneasily in front of a blank white wall, begins with him touting the benefits of pork and bear meat in the American diet. “And pork—especially raw pork—is full of anti-inflammatory qualities that the FDA really doesn’t want you to know about,” he says. “Just look at these requirements: 145 degrees. Why do we let the drug administration control how we eat our food? Really, these requirements should be removed just like the restrictions on bear hunting that happen in most liberal states.”

Kennedy continues, emphasizing his frustration with the FDA’s regulatory stance. “These so-called anti-parasite drugs are almost as bad as opioids in some cases, Just look at the statistics: in 2015 alone, 400 people died. And for what? To kill a harmless worm? They aren’t even trying to kill you; they’re just trying to survive and we kill them for that?” He then says, “Here is what I have to say to the FD…FDA: GET OUT OF MY HEAD!”

The video cuts off shortly after Kennedy accidentally knocks his phone onto the floor. When he returns, he excitedly thanks his audience for following him through his presidential candidacy and cabinet nomination. The Senate confirmation hearings are expected to take place on January 20, the day President Trump will be sworn in.
