Will the Next Season of Survivor Go Too Far?

Survivor places a group of strangers in an isolated location, where they must provide food, fire, and shelter for themselves. The contestants compete in challenges including testing the contestants’ physical ability like running and swimming or their mental abilities like puzzles and endurance challenges for rewards and immunity from elimination.

But this next Season changes things like we have never seen before. This will be the first season of survivor to take place in space. All contestants will be sent to the moon with minimal supplies and expected to survive in the hostile environment with no atmosphere.

Jeff Probst himself tweeted his excitement for this ground breaking new development of the Survivor series.

Fans however have not shared the same excitement, from claims of jumping the shark to outcries over the excess waste involved in getting the survivor contestants to the moon in the first place. Even concerns of climate change and the carbon footprint involved in the trips were aired.

Elon Musk himself chimed in that SpaceX could do a better job and provide a more Scenic mars as the destination.
